Assured validates the quality of training programmes through a rigorous benchmark model developed in conjunction with quality, learning and policy experts across ILM, City & Guilds and Digitalme. The ILM Assured standard has six core benchmark components:

- Learner support
- Planning and management
To attain the ILM Assured standard a training programme must meet the competency criteria listed under each benchmark component. To maintain consistent quality and Assured status your programme will be reviewed by a quality professional annually.

- Local language
If your programme is not a leadership and management development programme it may still be eligible to become City & Guilds Assured.
