ILM Diplomas for Apprenticeships: maximising the apprenticeship learning experience
ILM’s diplomas support seamless delivery of the on-programme content for the leadership and management apprenticeships at levels 3, 5 and 7.
The diplomas are unit-based with flexible assessment options, allowing providers, apprentices and employers to design a programme that fits into an off-the-job learning schedule and develops the core competencies to succeed in the role.
By embedding an ILM diploma within management apprenticeships, providers, employers and apprentices can be confident that their learning programme is engaging, measurable and aligns with the requirements for rigorous end-point-assessment. Furthermore, the skills that are developed during the apprenticeship will be fully recognised through the ILM diploma and apprentices will be awarded a digital credential and certificate for the full diploma, or a certificate for unit achievements.
Apart from registration and certification costs, the delivery of these diplomas will still be fundable under the levy up to the funding band limit. For up-to-date funding rules, please refer to the latest funding guidance.
All ILM learners on qualifications or EPA receive free studying membership to The Institute of Leadership, giving them access to over 300 hours of learning content.
