Our history
ILM was formed in November 2001 through the merger of the Institute of Supervisory Management (a membership organisation started in the 1950s) and the National Examining Board for Supervision and Management.
Today ILM is a City & Guilds business dedicated to developing and supporting best in class qualifications, assessment and learning content for leaders and managers.
