ILM | Leading into the Future event
During the pandemic, there was a great deal of discussion and celebration of new and creative ways of working. Spontaneous, collaborative and innovative approaches were recognised and rewarded, within organisations and wider settings. However, many organisations have now reverted to old ways of working and leading.
In this webinar, we explored what leadership practices could look like to help people and organisations to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic: How can organisations encourage and recognise spontaneous creativity and innovation at all levels, beyond a time-limited crisis response? What does it take for all individuals in an organisation, regardless of their role, to feel like they are leaders? And how can a more humanistic focus on intrinsic rewards by employers attract, empower and engage new and existing employees?
Our panel speakers were:
- Carol Jarvis, Professor in Knowledge Exchange and Innovation, Bristol Business School, University of the West of England
- Jane Hadfield, National Lead, Talent for Care and Senior Programme Manager – NHS Apprenticeships, Health Education England
