These non-technical qualifications are aimed at team leaders, supervisors, foremen and site managers seeking to gain a thorough understanding of leadership and management principles to effectively lead, supervise and safely manage staff in the built environment and construction industry.

Structure

Details of the qualification, learning time involved and criteria a learner must satisfy

1 hour induction. At least 2 hours tutorial support. Minimum of 7 or 8 credits depending on the pathway. Two units from Group 1. Unit 8626-300 is mandatory for all pathways. Then choice of 8626-301, 8626-315, 8626-316 or 8626-317.

2 hour induction. At least 4 hours tutorial support. Minimum of 15 or 17 credits depending on the pathway. Two units from Group 1. Unit 8626-300 is mandatory for all pathways.Then choice of 8626-301, 8626-315, 8626-316 or 8626-317. Additional credits from Group 2 to make up the required minimum.
